About Summer French, PA-C

Summer French, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who provides comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology services at Pariser Dermatology Specialists’ New Town office. She is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized care while helping patients achieve healthy skin through prevention, education, and evidence-based treatment.

Summer earned her bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Radford University Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), licensed to practice in Virginia, and is an active member of the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants (VAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA).

Her passion for dermatology began long before becoming a Physician Assistant. Prior to PA school, Summer worked as a dermatology medical assistant where she developed a deep appreciation for the specialty and discovered her desire to return as a dermatology provider. Today, she enjoys caring for patients of all ages with a wide range of skin conditions while also offering cosmetic dermatology treatments to help patients look and feel their best. Summer especially enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients, helping them feel confident in their skin, and playing an important role in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer.

Outside the office, Summer enjoys spending time with family and friends at her home on the James River, searching for shark teeth, and playing fetch with her dog, Remi.
