About Brianna Castillo, M.D., Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Brianna Castillo is a fellowship-trained and double board-certified Mohs micrographic surgeon and dermatologist with expertise in a broad range of medical and surgical dermatology treatments. She is focused on the prevention, early detection, and surgical treatment of skin cancer.
Dr. Castillo has published several articles in scholarly journals and has presented at national and regional conferences, such as the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), American
Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) annual meeting, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and the Missouri Dermatology Society (MDS) meeting. During her fellowships and residencies, Dr. Castillo was an active mentor to other students and was a member of research committees and lecture series. She has provided several hours of her time as a volunteer for community organizations and has offered free skin screenings for patients at various institutional events.
In her spare time, Dr. Castillo enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, experiencing new cultures and cuisine with her her husband and spending time with their Australian Shepherd named Penny.
